This week it’s an all new and most excellent show! Our panel was Steve Mencher formerly of NPR’s Performance Today, Phil Greenfield of the American Record Guide and Bryan Young the Bassoonist of the Poulenc Trio. Three of the composers have connections to Leipzig (I’ve just returned from the WBJC trip to Leipzig and Dresden) and the Copland celebrates the great work David Zinman did with the Baltimore Symphony (1985 – 1998) on the day before his birthday.
