Tune in to Opera on WBJC every Saturday at 1 PM for live and recorded classical opera performances, featured works, and full season broadcasts.
Launched in 1931, the Metropolitan Opera’s Saturday matinee broadcasts are the longest-running continuous classical music program in radio history! WBJC proudly brings you the Met every saturday from December through May.
From June through November, the WBJC Operafest features performances from great opera companies such as: Lyric Opera of Chicago, LA Opera On Air, San Francisco Opera, The Houston Grand Opera, Vienne State Opera, and the Bayreuth Festival.
