This week we continue our re-broadcast of the First Annual Baltimore Piano Music Marathon.  The concert took place at First and Franklin Presbyterian Church on May 7, 2017.  On this program we heard pianists Dr. Raymond Jackson play Chopin and Ken Osowski play Scarlatti, Debussy, Bolcom and Turpin.  WBJC’s Kati Harrison and Mark Malinowski were Masters of Ceremonies.  Next week we will finish with the final two pianists!  To fill we used act one of Prokofiev’s Romeo and Juliet in a new recording featuring the Baltimore Symphony conducted by Marin Alsop.

Chopin: Nocturne c-sharp minor op. post.  Fantasy-Impromptu in c-sharp minor op. 66.  Barcarolle, op. 60.  Tarantella, op. 43.  Dr. Raymond Jackson, piano.

Scarlatti: Sonata in d minor K. 9.  Debussy: Images, Series 1.  Bolcom: Graceful Ghost Rag.  Turpin: A Rag-Time Nightmare.  Ken Osowski, piano.

Chopin: Nocturne, op. 55 No.  2, Beethoven: Sonata No.  32, op. 111.  Thomas Hunter, piano.

Mozart: Rondo in a minor K.511, Brahms: 2 Rhapsodies op. 79.  Marianna Prjevalskaya, piano.

I want to hear the Annapolis Symphony on tonight’s (6/27/20) Music in Maryland, but will not be home at 6PM. Will a recording of this concert be available, as was made available with the “30 in 30” series?
    Thanks in advance….
