11-2-19 Music in Maryland Peabody!
This week we are fortunate to have some performances from Peabody. We have the pleasure of Bizet’s Carmen Suite # 1 and Falla’s First Suite from The Three Cornered Hat. These were recorded by the Peabody Symphony conducted by Joseph Young on 9/26/19. Following this we have a recording of the Tchaikovsky Piano Trio featuring Peabody faculty members violinist Judith Ingolfsson, cellist Alan Stepansky and pianist Vladimir Stoupel. To fill we used the Baltimore Symphony’s recording of Schumann’s Second Symphony with David Zinman.
