This show was originally broadcast in September of 2015. Charles Ellis, a great friend and Face The Music panelist died on 1/1/16. I happened to hear this show by accident the other day and thought it was fabulous. It’s great and sad to hear his voice again. Here is the original description and listings for the show.
This week we have an all new show with all new releases! Our panel was Phil Greenfield of The American Record Guide, Ed Goldstein Tuba player extraordinaire with the Annapolis Symphony and Charles Ellis Music Director of the Prince Georges Philharmonic. We didn’t care for the Haydn, adored the Brahms, split on the Saint Saens and Love Jonas Kaufmann. Here are the listings…hope you enjoyed the show.
