By Jonathan Palevsky | Posted in Host Blogs | No Comments

This week Music in Maryland features Leon Fleisher as conductor of the Peabody Symphony.  The concert was recorded on April 30, 2016 at the Miriam A. Friedberg Concert Hall at Peabody.  On the program Mozart’s Symphony No.  41, ‘Jupiter’ and Rakhmaninov’s Second Symphony.  To fill I used two of Leon Fleisher’s Bach recordings from the CD Two Hands.   Hats off to the Peabody Symphony they sound amazing.
