This week I am finally airing an interview I conducted with Anthony and Olive Hamilton Russell in the Fall. Their wines are really excellent and I was inspired to buy a case of their Southern Right Sauvignon Blanc and will probably soon purchase a case of their Pinotage. I was also inspired by their descriptions of the southernmost parts of South Africa that I ended up buying a copy of Olive’s cookbook, A Year on a Cape Wine Estate: Entertaining at Hamilton Russell Vineyards, on Amazon.com. The Kindle version is fine but the pictures are gorgeous on paper! The Hamilton Russell’s were unbelievably gracious guests and not just because of their exotic accents.
