1-16-16 Music In Maryland Pro Musica Rara…Love Letters!
This week Music in Maryland presented a concert recorded on Sunday November 18 2012 at Towson University. The concert featured violinist Madeline Adkins, cellist Allen Whear and Eva Mengelkoch at the Fortepiano. On the program music by both Rebecca Schroeter (lover of Haydn!) and her husband Johann Samuel…(Rebecca was widowed when she was involved with Haydn!) Music by Beethoven written for the daughter of the immortal beloved, and music by Maria Cosway the lover of Thomas Jefferson! A really nice program and a nice performance.
