9-5-15 Music in Maryland BSO 100 Dvorak 174!

This week on Music in Maryland we continue  to celebrate celebrate the centennial of the Baltimore Symphony and we will also celebrate the birthday of Antonin Dvorak who was born on September 8, 1841.  It just so happens that we have some really nice Dvorak live recordings with the BSO and Music Director Marin Alsop.  For a bit of a Dvorak break we turn to Menotti’s Violin Concerto with Concert Artists of Baltimore conducted by Edward Polochick and their Concert Master Jose Cueto as soloist.  Here are the listings…hope you enjoyed the show.
