8-8-15 Music In Maryland Amit Peled & pablo Casals!
This week Music in Maryland presents a concert featuring cellist Amit Peled as he recreates the concert Pablo Casals gave at Peabody on February 12, 1915. Even more amazing is that the Peled recital took place a century later on February 12, 2015! Even more amazing is that Amit Peled plays on Pablo Casals’ cello! Finally if that weren’t enough February 12 is Founders Day at Peabody. See below for program and details.
After the concert we paid tribute to the Baltimore Symphony which is celebrating its centennial.
