7-19-14 Music In Maryland Post Classical Ensemble! Dvorakorama!

By Jonathan Palevsky | Posted in Host Blogs, Music In Maryland | Comments Off on 7-19-14 Music In Maryland Post Classical Ensemble! Dvorakorama!

This week Music in Maryland features the Post Classical Ensemble’s latest CD Dvorak and America.  This is a unique blend of music and poetry combining Longfellow’s Hiawatha and Dvorak’s New World Symphony and other pieces.  The resulting ‘melodrama’ is most intriguing.  If that weren’t enough we added some other selections from the CD and also filled in with the Baltimore Symphony’s recording of Dvorak’s 6th symphony!  Here are the listings…Enjoy!
