1-23-14 Word On WIne Tasting Notes! Are They Part Of The Solution….
This week dear ladies and Gentlemen Mary and I discuss the value of tasting notes. These appear on radio shows (full disclosure…we do them too) at formal and informal tastings and also on the backs of our favorite and sometimes not so favorite bottles. Does it matter if wine professionals taste vanilla and gun flint when all you taste is wine? Are you tired of flowery descriptions of wine that are meaningless to you…or has a tasting note really helped you enjoy the wine even more that you otherwise would have. This is a topic that should really be discussed and we have at it. Check out the show. I think there is something in it to empower every wine taster.
