2-18-13 Word On Wine Review Fireplace Wines
This week Mary and I are in the New World in relatively far away places. We begin in Coonawara with the Wynns Cabernet. Wynns is one of the oldest wineries in the area and this is their 55th vintage. Check out their site at www.wynns.com.au/
1)2010 Wynns Cabernet. $48. A little dear but really drinkable…$10 less and I am in! For $44…not so much.
2)2010 Beringer Knights Valley Meritage. 55% Cabernet, 35% Cabernet Franc and 10% Merlot. $30. Nice price especially for Napa wines and very…very…very…drinkable! Be careful. Enjoy the show.
