Shriver Concerts’ 60th anniversary—mid 80s to mid 90s

 

 

Against the backdrop of the end of the Vietnam War; the Camp David Accords between Egypt and Israel; the election of Ronald Reagan and the Iran-Contra affair; and the emergence of personal computing, the Shriver Hall Concert Series continued to go from strength to strength. I looked back on another decade with Executive Director, Catherine Cochran.
