Cast members Tonya Beckman and Jacob Yeh spoke with me about their experience in, and audience response to, the current production of How the Light Gets In by E.M. Lewis, playing Thu-Sun through March 26th at 1st Stage in Tysons, Virginia.

How the Light Gets In stars Joel Ashur, Tonya Beckman, Madeleine Regina, and Jacob Yeh. The show features scenic design by Kathryn Kawecki, lighting design by Helen Garcia-Alton, sound design by Gordon Nimmo Smith, prop design by Cindy Landrum Jacobs, and costume design by Debra Kim Sivigny.

The production will run at 1st Stage until March 26th, with show times as follows: Thursdays at 7:30pm, Fridays at 8 pm, Saturdays at 2 pm and 8 pm, and Sundays at 2pm.

WBJC listeners and Baltimore audiences may know Gavin from his nearly 20 years as dramaturg and associate artistic director at Baltimore Center Stage (in which capacity he was a frequent guest on WBJC to talk about programs and events), or from regular appearances alongside Jonathan Palevsky at the Charles Theater for Cinema Sundays discussions.
