World Series

Well, another one is in the books. Being from Detroit, I will always be a die-hard Detroit Tigers fan, and would have loved to see my tigers settle the 2006 score with St. Louis, but it wasn’t meant to be. It’s funny, but back in August, St. Louis was playing really mediocre ball, but came a live late in the season and surprised everyone. It was a good series, and went the distance, which is only right. Those fans pay a lot of money for tickets, and every game should be played so every fan can participate. I like a lot of sports, although I.m not fanatical about it. Tennis is my favorite, but there is something about baseball. I’ve always felt that any game that is not regulated by a clock is superior to any game that is. also, don’t think there is anything in sports more beautiful to see than a well-executed double play. Nothing like it. Next year, watch those Tigers!
