WBJC is proud to bring you the Metropolitan Opera Radio Broadcasts!

Launched in 1931, the Metropolitan Opera’s Saturday matinee broadcasts are the longest-running continuous classical music program in radio history. The 87th season begins on December 2, 2017, with James Levine conducting Verdi’s Requiem. Twenty-three broadcasts will be presented on the Toll Brothers–Metropolitan Opera International Radio Network through May 5th, 2018. Mary Jo Heath returns as the series’s host, joined by commentator Ira Siff.
