5-19-15 Word On Wine Spain Continues To Please
Before I left for Italy I was supposed to post these Word On Wines. Unfortunately, Italy took all my time and energy and also my desire to post anything anywhere…However, all fabulous things come to an end and it’s time to get serious. First off Mary and I have to thank Ken Ross for some very nice wine that we tasted in late April and I am finally posting the shows…With that in mind…Here is the second posting of what I should have done ages ago! Last week we tasted the lovely Casa Mariol Vermut and this week we sampled their white blend.
1)Casa Mariol Blanc. $11 A blend of White Grenache and Macabeu. Super enjoyable and interesting at the price. A winner…take a look at their website.

2)R-O Montsant. Blend of Garnacha and Carignan. Some great old vines and hand harvested. $16. Buy me you won’t be disappointed. Prunes Tobacco Leather. Yumsters…bring out the grill and have a ball.
