3-6-14 Word On Wine Chateau La Tour!
A couple of weeks ago I was invited by good friends to taste some wine…Who says no to that! However, it turned out that it was someone’s 50th birthday and they were celebrating with a 2002 bottle of Chateau Latour. This isn’t something I get to taste everyday…if you do I am envious…but the tastes and flavors were quite different from what I had expected. The wine was smooth and had a beautiful finish. All the tension had gone out of the Cabernet Suavignon and what remained was smooth as silk. Mary and I talk about Bordeaux in general and a bit about the expectations we have when we open an expensive bottle.
