WBJC email lists explained

WBJC is using Constant Contact to manage our email. It is secure, and has many spam-preventative rules in place (in addition to our own). These emails lists will never be traded or sold to other organizations.

At the bottom of any of our emails, you will find a link for “Update Profile”. Clicking this will send you instructions for logging in and managing which emails you receive from us. Below is an explanation of each list.

WBJC General Email list – most email. Monthly newsletters, renewal notices, some special appeals, occasional survey, contest announcements.

WBJC Newsletter lists – only monthly newsletters (13x). If you have only this selected, you will only receive newsletters. We send out one per month, except December, which has 2 (one special edition for holiday programming and the other is regular). You can select this in addition to any of the others.

WBJC Renewal list – only renewal notices (3x per year). If you have only this list selected, you will only receive notices as your membership comes up for renewal. We are really trying to save on paper mailing expenses, so please keep renewals checked if nothing else! You can select this in addition to any of the other lists.

WBJC Volunteer List – 3-9x per year You will only get volunteer notifications if this box is checked. These emails do not go to the General List.

WBJC Tour info – 2-3x per year. You will only get WBJC Tour notifications if this box is checked. These emails do not go to the General List. If you are a tour participant, you will receive the email one week before the open list.

PLEASE DON’T UNSUBSCRIBE. If you click unsubscribe on any of our mailings, it will unsubscribe you from ALL email lists. We will not be allowed to re-add you ever (those are part of those handy spam-control features of Constant Contact!) If you decide later on you want to receive Renewals electronically, you will have to resubscribe through the website and do some crazy hoop-jumping. 😉

If you have any questions, or need help changing your preferences, either email us at membership@wbjc.com or call us at 410-580-5800.
