Choose your poison
You wouldn’t know this to listen to 91.5 FM (or maybe you would!), but WBJC staffers are inveterate coffee drinkers. The studios are redolent with mouthwatering smells. For myself, I drink copious cups of tea during my air shift (I joke with my colleagues that in truth I’m just one giant teabag), and today I experimented with a Jasmine Tea Blossom.

It’s that beautiful? Truth to tell, it looks better than it tastes—but I enjoyed the experiment, nonetheless.

Judith, What a lovely photo! It’s a shame that there is no way to make coffee look that pretty. As much as I like the smell of jasmine, it can sometimes be overwhelmingly indolic. Did the tea taste the way jasmine smells?
Actually, the sad fact is that the tea tasted more like seaweed than that gorgeous, heady smell of jasmine! But I did delight in looking at it, and watching it “blossom” in the hot water.
