Step into Between Dream and Daylight, an evocative evening with soprano Michelle Ravitsky and pianist Lisa Weiss. The program journeys from the shimmering lyricism of Schubert’s Auf dem Wasser zu singen and the beloved Die Forelle, through the emotional arc of Schumann’s Frauenliebe und Leben. After a brief interlude, Barber’s Knoxville: Summer of 1915 offers luminous nostalgia, followed by the striking contrasts of Weill’s Wie lange noch? and Gershwin favorites My Ship and Summertime.
