On Wednesday, September 18, 2019 at 7:30 pm, the Chesapeake Concert Band will play a free concert in the worship center of St. John’s Lutheran Church, 3911 Sweet Air Road, Phoenix, MD 21131.

Originally formed in the early 1980s, the Chesapeake Concert Band is a non-profit organization made up of 45 volunteer musicians of all ages. The band repertoire consists of music from Broadway, Hollywood, marches, light classics and contemporary music of today and yesterday.

Under the leadership of their two conductors – Mr. Matthew Elky and Mr. Joseph Nalley – the Chesapeake Concert Band is recognized as one of the outstanding community concert bands in the Baltimore metropolitan area.

A reception with light refreshments will follow the concert.
