A building with faith in art and community
Neighborhoods change over the decades, sometimes just in a few years. What do you do with a house of worship whose congregants have left the area? In the case of Shaarei Tfiloh, you create a place for people to gather, make or be exposed to art, learn, and enjoy each other’s company. I recently spoke with Rabbi Jessy Dressin, Executive Director of Third Space, an arts and community center located in a former Orthodox Jewish synagogue.
