Heyward pays tribute to Ellington
In a one-off program at the Meyerhoff on Saturday, March 15 at 8:00 PM, BSO Music Director Jonathon Heyward celebrates Duke Ellington‘s philosophy of music “beyond category,” intermingling America’s greatest native art form with classical symphonic traditions.
