Shriver Hall Concert Series and WBJC have partnered to present SUMMER NIGHTS WITH SHRIVER HALL CONCERT SERIES ON WBJC, a vibrant radio broadcast series that will present performances by eight of the world’s foremost ensembles and recitalists from Shriver Hall Concert Series’ recent seasons as part of WBJC’s longrunning “Music in Maryland” program.

SUMMER NIGHTS WITH SHRIVER HALL CONCERT SERIES ON WBJC will launch on Saturday, July 18 at 6pm EDT with the renowned Zukerman Trio.

The biweekly broadcast series – hosted by WBJC’s Jonathan Palevsky – will continue through September 26 with a range of modern luminaries, such as pianist Conrad Tao and the Jerusalem Quartet.

Founded in 1966, the venerable Shriver Hall Concert Series celebrates its 55th anniversary in the 2020-21 season.

“We’re excited to share a variety of performances from our recent seasons with audiences near and far,” said Catherine Cochran, Executive Director of Shriver Hall Concert Series. “We’re excited to partner with WBJC on this wonderful series, especially during these times when we all need artistic comfort, uplift, and connection more than ever.”

“WBJC is absolutely thrilled to have the Shriver Hall Concert series back on the air in Baltimore and beyond,” said Jonathan Palevsky, WBJC’s Interim General Manager, Program Director, and Host of “Music in Maryland.” “Shriver Hall Concert Series has always brought the best of chamber music to Baltimore and we look forward to making these concerts available to our radio and streaming audience. During these times when live performances are not possible, WBJC is determined to make its broadcasting platform available to the great performers and musical organizations in
our state. ”

All broadcasts will air on WBJC 91.5 FM and will stream online at www.wbjc.com. “Music in Maryland” is made possible by the Maryland State Arts Council and Roland Park Place.
