Shriver’s Piatigorsky Memorial Concert
The Shriver Hall Concert Series presents a program each season in honor of the great cellist, Gregor Piatigorsky, and this year they feature the Argentinian cellist Sol Gabetta with French pianist Bertrand Chamayou. Here is SHCS Executive Director Catherine Cochran with more.

Keeping it in the family
The Latvian-born cellist, Mischa Maisky, last appeared on the Shriver Hall Concert Series in 1982 – before his daughter, the pianist Lily Maisky, was born in Paris in 1987. Now, they will be appearing together on the series to open the 2013-2014 season on Sunday.
