WBJC’s next Arts and Music Tour incorporates land, air and sea travel for an unbeatable cultural experience. Cruise the Baltic Sea and Russia aboard with Crystal Cruises (voted the World's Best Cruise Line by the readers of Travel & Leisure Magazine) and visit St. Petersburg for the famed “White Lights” Festival.

Jonathan Palevsky, WBJC program director, will provide commentary and insight throughout that will enhance and enrich your tour. Jonathan, a classical musician, has been program director at WBJC since 1990 and charmingly brings his wealth of expertise and knowledge to create a unique arts experience.

The tour package includes:

• Transatlantic air fare departing BWI June 4 or June 6, 2008
• 2 Nights in London (optional)
• Eleven day cruise to the Baltic Sea and Russia aboard the Crystal Symphony.
• Itinerary includes Oslo, Copenhagen, Ronne (Denmark), Helsinki and Saint Petersburg.
• On board performances by mezzo soprano Frederica von Stade (known for her stirring performances at the Metropolitan Opera and many other major opera companies in the world), soprano saxophone phenomenon Anders Paulsson and internationally acclaimed violinist Leila Josefowicz, among others.*
• "White Nights" Festival in St. Petersburg, featuring performances in that glittering city.
