Kraushaaur Auditorium | Towson, MD
The Land of the Free
Tom Hall leads a salute to the 1812 anniversary and our national anthem including commentary by colonial historian David Hildebrand. The program also features a performance of Ysaye Barnwell’s “Fortune’s Bones: The Manumission Requiem,” as Choral Arts is joined by the Heritage Signature Chorale and the Soulful Symphony, as well as vocal soloists including Stephen Salters and Shannon Finney, and guest conductor Stanley Thurston. A grand celebration of freedom and the emotional power of song.
