BSO Berlioz Contest

WBJC and the BALTIMORE SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA invite you to win dinner, transportation and tickets to Berlioz’s richly orchestrated Symphonie fantastique, Friday April 7th, at the Joseph Meyerhoff Symphony Hall, in Baltimore.

Violinist Ray Chen brings his extraordinary talents to the concerto by Paganini, a consummate showman whose works of astounding virtuosity and flashy style lead to rumors he had sold his soul! And if that isn’t enough, Berlioz’s richly orchestrated Symphonie fantastique conjures a tale of obsessive love leading to madness, an opium dream and a dance with the Devil. French conductor Ludovic Morlot makes a welcome return for this pyrotechnic program.  BSO Late Night includes a post concert performance in the lobby of the Meyerhoff, featurning Ray Chen.
