11-10-18 Music In Maryland Robert DiLutis and Other Great Things!

By Jonathan Palevsky | Posted in Host Blogs, Music In Maryland | No Comments

This week we start with clarinetist Robert DiLutis and a nice performance of the much too under-heard Francaix Clarinet Concerto.  It was recorded at College Park with the U of M Orchestra and conductor Jose Luis Novo.  After that I wanted some stuff appropriate to the 100th anniversary of the end of World War One.  So I chose some Finzi, Elgar and Ravel.
