10-1-16 Music In Maryland…Poulenc Trio!
This week Music in Maryland presents a concert with the Poulenc Trio recorded at the National Gallery of Art in Washington DC. The concert was recorded this past October and featured the debut of the Poulenc trio’s new oboe player Leung Wang. In addition to playing in the Poulenc Trio Mr. Wang happens to be the oboist in the New York Philharmonic! Completing the Poulenc Trio’s fine personnel are bassoonist Bryan Young and pianist Irina Kaplan-Lande. In addition to music played at the concert we also featured selections from the trio’s CD on Delos . Here is the repertoire for tonight’s program.
