This week Mary and I tasted two Roses (I don’t have an easy accent!) the first was from Bordeaux and the second from Hungary.

1)2013 Chateau Goudichaud Rose 100% Cabernet Franc.  $15.  I was fortunate enough to taste this and as I read on line about it…Left Bank Right Price.  Nothing not to like…nice color good acid…refreshing.

2)2014 Sauska Rose!  To steal a description…The color of rose petals. Packed with aromas of spring flowers with raspberry and early cherry. Vibrant, fresh and round with great acidity.  We liked it!

A blend of Kékfrankos (50%), Cabernet Sauvignon (20%), Cabernet Franc (10%), Syrah (10%)  and Merlot (10%),.

Alcohol: 13%, acid: 6.7 g / l sugar, 2.5 g / l

Enjoy the show!
