I can’t get out of this!
I do not have a mobile device that allows streaming. I stream your feed to my desktop computer when I am in my office and to my laptop when I travel.
This idiotic survey will not accept any of my answers to the first question. I am tired of wasting my time with this. Over and OUT!!!

The ideal would be a service that needs no corporate nor government support. How many regular listeners does wbjc have? What is your total annual budget? Budget/listenership = true fair share contribution. Is ithis anywhere near doable?
I believe our listenership at any given time is upwards to 200k. Our active membership is around 9k. Budget… is something I’d have to get GM Joe to answer… I will shoot him a note!

I stream at my desk at work every day on the computer. Just recently got an iPhone; will probably use it to stream on an upcoming trip to Wisconsin and when I go to Ocean City… never thought of it before, but never had a “mobile device”!
We left mobile device to be as open a term as we could figuring this would give us an indicator of who carried us around versus listened at a computer. We can’t really tell that on the back end, mainly because most people are using TuneInRadio app and we get no data from them.
I think your survey is messed up. It keeps saying We really need to know this! for question #2 even though I have checked a box. At first, I tried to select several (T-Shirt, Umbrella, windbreaker) but then I tried JUST windbreaker and it still won’t complete the survey.
Yeah, the instructions in this “any layperson can make a survey” survey confounded this layperson. Very sorry for the frustration! If you check back in, I believe I’ve fixed it, give it another go?

It took a while to load but the survey worked for me. At our age(s) 82 &78 you won’t find us at many events but as for giveaways we disply the logo on the shopping bags so anything wearable would work. Now about money, We renew our membership at every drive and that tends to wor out to $120 per year. With MPT we have what they call a sustaining membership at so mucj per month, have you thought of tryin that. By the wae we do mot have a streaming device but four restored vintage stereo systems and two car stereos are all tuned to 91.5.
We do offer monthly installments during the Pledge Drives, but we hadn’t officially named it Sustaining Members as yet 🙂

I suspect whether people like or dislike classical music or opera depends on how their brains are wired. Some hear it once and are in love; others just never “get it”. It would make a good PhD. research thesis.

I am, obviously, among the many for whom this survey does not work. It will not accept my answers, and I cannot get out of it without deleting the entire page. This does not speak well for survey monkey.

I had a wonky setting on that second question… I thought I was allowing multiple answers, but I was telling it to require ALL the answers! *facepalm*
I make donations to multiple stations as well as the Symphony and never accept a premium because I want the whole amount to go to the cause. However, I would like a window stick-on (the gel type that leaves no glue) for my car to advertise the station.

Okay, Survey Monkey’s whole website is experiencing an outage… Methinks this whole ‘survey idea’ is cursed!
At age 84 and 94 and somehow handicapped so we attend no or very few events. We do not have a mobile device/ We have a radio in every room in the house and in the car and listen almost constantly. It is our great pleasure and diversion. We are members for many decades and always decline any of the premiums. Does this info help you in any way?

Actually, have you considered those oval car magnets that say “26.2” for marathoners, except yours would say “91.5”?

That’s a cool idea! Right now the window clings are that same white, round format, but with our full logo. I’ll pass along the suggestion of magnet!
I’m attracted to WBJC by the knowledge of music that is abundantly apparent and by hearing music and/or performances I’ve not heard before. There seems to be a strong sense of community, shared commitment, evident among the staff. I like that.
I think the longevity of our staff roster has a lot to do with that familial vibe you get. I’m the last ‘new hire’ and that was 2001 (I was a part-timer since 94). WBJC is definitely filled with dedicated people!!
Hi–You have such a terrific station! I’ll try to answer the questions here and hope the comment gets through. My husband and I don’t take premiums because we want you to get every bit of the $$ we send you. Take that back, we did order your tote bags once (very nice for us in Montgomery County). We saw Kati Harrison and Jonathan Palevsky at a Strathmore event and Diana Neal at the antiquities fair. Nice to put faces with names. As for the mobile device question, neither of us has streaming capability on our phones (dark ages, us). Sorry you’ve had such a struggle with SurveyMonkey. I think Kobo also used SurveyMonkey and I finally gave up on trying to answer anything they asked. The reply I got back was in unintelligible English (written by someone who didn’t understand English well at all).
