Hi – What was the music played at 4:12 pm on Sunday 11/11? I don’t think it was Shostakovich – I’d really like to know what it is. It was fascinating. Thanks for your help! – mg

      Reed Hessler says:

Indeed the piece you heard was the Shostakovich Symphony No. 5, probably his most performed symphony, although I would contend the others are great too.

  • MCorbin says:

I heard a wonderful piece on your station recently by a Greek composer. I believe it was played on Sunday evening (11/11) between 9:00 and 9:30pm.

Your playlist stops earlier in the evening. Is there any way to find-out what that piece was?

    Thank you.

      Diana Ross says:

Yes, at the bottom of every playlist there is a link for the overnight programming. The trick is that their listings are offset by one hour (the service comes out of Minnesota.)

It looks like what you heard was:
      Christopher Theofanidis – Rainbow Body
      Atlanta Symphony Orchestra
      Robert Spano, conductor
      Telarc 80596
