We didn’t taste them all, but we tried…
200 wines – & a few beers – at one event, all for the tasting. Now that’s my idea of a great afternoon! Wine Expo 2012 was held last Sunday at Harford Community College & several of us from the WBJC staff (Jonathan Palevsky, Kati Harrison, & myself) were in attendance, as was Mr. Neal, er, I mean my husband, Jim Knost. Around 500 people attended & sampled the wares of 35 vendors. We tasted quite a few of the beverages on offer, although not too many, as we were set to attend friends’ Oscars-viewing party back in the city that evening & needed not only to be able to drive safely, but to save room for still more wine! Everyone seemed to be having as much fun as we were & Wine World owner Elizabeth LaBruto, a great friend of WBJC & one of the event sponsors, was very pleased with the turnout. Here are some pics that we took that day, including Elizabeth (in white) with members of the WBJC staff:

Mr. Knost took a nice picture of us, I think! It was fun tasting but also watching people of varied levels of experience. Wine newbies, aficionados and those in between mixed and mingled.
These are the smiling faces of the people bring us a world of enchanting music every day!
I was at that event, and Dyana I must say you were a vision of lovliness in your bright blue hat! You are so chic! Jonathan and Kati were great as well. A good time made better by your appearance. Come again next year!
